Easter Card

For the first in this months series of  Fiskars Focus Themes I have created an Easter card using the lovely Continuous Stamping Wheel.

I stamped directly onto the card blank, which is always a scary thing because if you go wrong you have completely ruined a card blank rather than just a scrap of card or paper.  With the Stamping Wheel though there are guidelines to ensure you roll straight.

Fiskars Products Used:

Additional Products Used:

  • Card Blank
  • Happy Easter stamp
  • Ink pads for edging and sentiment
  • Coloured Paper
  • Pearls
  • Organza Ribbon

Instructions:

  • Using the Continuous Stamping Wheel, Black Ink and Circles of Fun Stamp, create your border along the right hand side of the card blank.
  • Punch out coloured circles using the Medium Circle Squeeze Punch.  These actually fit perfectly within the larger circles of the stamp design.  Ink the edges of the circles and the card blank, and glue the circles within some of the larger circles of the design.
  • Randomly place pearls within or on top of other circles within the design.
  • Punch two holes, with your Eyelet Setter, towards the bottom of the card, either side of the front to thread your ribbon through and tie in a bow.
  • Stamp Happy Easter just above the bow to the left.
