Mondays Challenge is ‘Distressed’…..show us any project showing a distressed look or even using distress inks. Look forward to seeing your interpretation!
This tag is made using Distress Ink and by ‘distressing’ some plain circles!
Cut out some circles using the ShapeCutter and Circles Template.
I used very fine Mulberry paper – be sure to alter the blade setting to correspond with the type of paper you are cutting.
Scrunch the circles to create a crumpled look and layer them. I inked them lightly.

I inked a tag with Distress Inks – Peeled Paint and Spiced Marmalade, and added a stamped border around the edges with Fiskars Decorative Stamp Set. I stamped using Scattered Straw ink and then brushed pearl pigment powder over the top whilst the ink was still wet.
I then added the scrunched layers, secured with a fabric brad and added the butterfly and gems. Finished off by adding ribbon and lace to the top of the tag.

Look forward to seeing what you do with the challenge!
