red gold card

I bought some gorgeously glittery gold wrapping paper for some of my presents this year, together with some gold crepe paper, and thought this challenge was a good opportunity to wrap another present, or two.

To go along with the presents I made a card with red, gold and green.  I used BasicGrey Wassail chipboard circle, Eskimo Kisses paper,Lil Davis TinselTown chipboard letters for the card, with Tando Creative chipboard Holly.

Sea Pearls punch

I always add little inserts to my cards and I thought this little punch was an ideal way to add a little interest to the insert.  I rounded the edges and added the punched holes with a new Fiskars Corner Punch-Sea Pearls (released in the UK January 2010).

I used the new Fiskars Scalloped Square Squeeze Punch (released Jan 2010) to add a stamp effect to the envelope.  I am a little addicted to this little punch and will be using it loads.  I love the idea of a pretend stamp, haha.

challenge card and envelope

How are you all doing with wrapping your presents and making your cards?

I am sooooo behind and still have so much to do, but I am determined to get it all done before the kids finish school this Thursday!  We will see!
