*NEWS & Monday challenge
by ClareHi, hope you all had a great weekend!
We have heard a few of you went to Hobbycrafts SECC, Glasgow in the last couple of days. Feel free to post how your day went. What did you get up to? What did you buy and did you go to meet the Fiskars team at the stand? Tell us your likes and dislikes or anything you would like to say. As you know we are both going to the show Saturday so it would be nice to know what to expect and look out for
Our challenge today is for you to make a craft project ie. a Card, Sewing project, Layout, Jewellery or any other hand craft project you can think of that has a ‘Moving Part’ …..
Jayne: - I have made a Jacobs ladder book and put it in a little box adding chipboard hearts. I used the lovely scalloped lace border punch to add embellishment to my book pages. It was actually a technique class I taught at my local crop. If you want to know how to make this book I will post at a later date the instructions possibly this week sometime !

Caroline:- I made a card which has a moving journalling wheel on it. You can turn it to make it say different things!
I did lots of hand cutting on this card, and used lots of 3d pads to create some lift. I used a pair of my favourite Fiskars scissors on this card – Deckle – which create a slightly wobbly line which is ideal to help add to the aged/vintage look….
Look forward to seeing what you do!
