When did you start scrapbooking?
I started scrapbooking about three years ago. I went along to a Modscraps crop on my own and I really didn’t know anything about this craft, but I wanted to find a way to preserve my photos and I had always been interested in crafts. I met loads of wonderful people who are now very good friends and I am now addicted to stash!

What do you enjoy most about scrapping?
I love the fact that scrapping is such a sociable craft. I enjoy sharing ideas and being creative while having a good natter and a cup of coffee! It helps to ensure that I really have time to myself. Being a Head Teacher of a primary school I find this hobby extremely relaxing and it helps me to switch off.

Describe your style…
Hmmm… tricky! I would say it’s layered, colourful and inky. However I think my style does change depending on what yummy stash I have to hand. I am also inspired by friends and craft blogs.

Describe your biggest scrapping disaster…
I haven’t really had any major disasters as I always try to make them design opportunities. My friend had a major disaster once when she discovered the glue she had used wasn’t acid free. We could smell something funny and realised it had melted the plastic in her album! Not good!!

Favourite…
Colour: Purple (or anything that sparkles/glitters!)
Craft manufacturers: Fiskars (of course!), Basic Grey, Ranger (I love inks and Stickles)
Craft tool: My Fiskars Paper Trimmer – couldn’t live without it! Although I have just discovered the Melt Pot after a weekend retreat with friends. I don’t have one yet, but I want one!! You can make fab embellishments with it!
Food: Pasta
Film: The Goonies
Song: Anything by Take That!
TV Programme: Skins, Shameless

I am really looking forward to being a part of the design team!
