Eye’s bigger than your belly!
by slcarringtonDesign Team Member, Sarah

Here is a little LO about our pups obsession with huge chew objects. He makes us laugh when he comes back with sticks twice the size of his body.
Tools used:
Fiskars paper trimmer
Fiskars eyelet setter (medium and large)
Fiskars Eyelets (medium and large)
Fiskars Ribbon Slits Border Punch
Fiskars Scalloped Lace Border Punch
Fiskars Tag Squeeze Punch
Instructions:
Take 3 photographs and mat them side by side on a piece of patterned cardstock.
Next take your trimmer and trim around the photo’s, leaving about ½” all around.
Next take another patterned paper, I chose a different green for my LO. Using the trimmer cut a piece about 1” wide and set aside for later. Repeat with another piece of patterned paper, this time I used red.
Take the green strip and punch all along it with the Ribbon slits punch. Thread a piece of ribbon thru and secure on the back.
Take the red strip and punch all along it with the Scalloped lace punch.
Next cut a wavy strip of red patterned paper.
Now its time to put it all together
Take your photo and patterned paper piece and attach the piece of PP threaded with ribbon to the bottom.
Next add the scalloped red piece to the right hand side.
Finally add the wavy piece to the top.
Take an eyelet setter and randomly punch holes in large and medium along the left edge. Add eyelets again in large and small randomly, leaving some of the holes empty as well.
Next I made some journaling cards and arrows using my pc and added them along the top and bottom of the photo mat.
I used mixed alphabet stickers to create my title. I also punched tags and incorporated them in to the title.
And there you go, a simple LO which utilises many tools to produce a bright and stimulating effect.

Beautiful LO Sarah, I love the way you’ve used different alphabets, what a great way to use up odd letters. I like the way you’ve clustered the journalling with the final part of your title, it really draws your eye across the LO.
Gorgeous layout Sarah and I love the photos!
