FISKARETTES AT THE NEC .
by Jayne & CarolineHiya everyone .
Just another post to ask all the fiskarettes if they can photograph their mugs that you all painted at The NEC last Saturday and send them in to us to share . We would also like a few words about how you thought the Fiskartea went !
Have you got any ideas where we could improve your experience at a big craft show another time. What would you like to do if we met again ? Any Feedback would be appreiciated from Fiskarettes that did and didnt go to the show . As we do want All the Fiskarettes to be Happy Fiskarettes
Heres a video about the Color Dekor transfer paper we used on the day …Its not in English sorry
(french i think) so if you don’t speak french turn the sound down and see how we decorated our mugs
. We were rather impressed with the paper once we got going and it punched really well with Fiskars squeeze punches.
You have to leave the mugs to dry for 24 hrs then bake for 180 C for 30mins . Wash your mugs by hand .

Hi everyone,
What a fantastic day I had. It was great though just to pay a visit and sit and relax with a cup of coffee later.
Most of the mug makers had left by then, and the atmosphere was peaceful. Jayne and Caroline who are not ‘Jayne and Caroline’ but ‘Jayne’ and ‘Caroline’ were very welcoming. I just wanted to say hello from the Bike Lady.
See I said I would.
Anyway I got home safely on my bike and look forward now to the next event.
Scotland though I think is a little bit far for a bike!
Regards
Heather
It was great to meet Jayne and Caroline at the NEC and the sit down and cup of tea was very welcome. My mug is sitting waiting to be ‘baked’. I’ll get a pic of it at the weekend and post it up for you.
Thanks again for your hospitality.
Enjoyed the activity and the mug works fine - have tried and tested it with several cups of tea since baking it!
