Acetate Holiday Album

This is my first attempt at an acetate album.

It was a real challenge to think about the layering and how it would look from front and back. I used alcohol inks to colour the acetate and then stamped images using stazon. I worked on this project at a charity crop that a friend and I organised. In the raffle I won a lovely Fiskars heart corner punch and I used this on some of the photos in this album.

Gorgeous cover, congratulations! The colours and the reflective surfaces as well as the acetate bring back the impression of blue sky and water, it’s a bit like actually being in Turkey! And you really mastered the front and back problem you always get with acetate.

That’s an excellent idea, I might try something similar when I next go on holiday.
