Beanstalk

We have had a lovely time this week planting a magic bean and overnight a beanstalk grew. The children were fascinated until one decided to tell everyone it was fake.

That was until I got the idea (at 5 in the morning) to add a little something else.

The footprints created lots of excitement, even the Head Teacher had to come down and look. Last nights addition was a little fairy door. Any suggestions for new additions would be gratefully received.

What a cute idea Debbie, Sometimes a few little white lies to make kids believe doesn’t hurt ! I love the idea of you adding other things to get the kids thinking is it real! Cute x

    What a fantastic idea Debbie!

How did you make the beanstalk? I know 25 little five year olds who would just love one in their classroom! :)

    Hi Liz

we used the interior tube from a carpet roll, if you know a friendly carpet person Im sure they would put one aside for you.

Thanks to Jayne we have a photoshopped fairy on the beanstalk for this morning, will be telling them about setting the camera up to take a photo every 5 minutes and showing them a powerpoint presentation. The last two frames will have the fairy sitting on one of the leaves.

This is amazing Debbie. It is show imaginative and clearly captured the imagination of the children. They are very lucky to have someone as creative and imaginative as you at the school. Can I borrow you?!
