DT Project – Thank you from the bottom of my Heart!

Hello Fiskarettes!

I know Valentine’s day was over a week ago but I love using hearts on my cards and not necessarily only on love themed cards. The card I have to share with you today is a Thank you card which I have embellished using the gorgeous Fiskars scalloped heart squeeze punch.

To make the card, you will need:

Fiskars Goodies
A Fiskars scalloped heart squeeze punch
A Fiskars paper trimmer
A Fiskars paisley roller stamp
A Fiskars Scalloped lace border punch

Other Items
Kraft and black card
Scraps of pink patterned paper
A sentiment sticker
Stick on gems
Spellbinders scalloped square die
A paisley embossing folder

To make the card:
1. Cut a strip of black card to the same width as your card base and measuring 7cm wide, punch edges with border punch
2. Stamp a strip of paisley pattern and trim into a strip to fit in the punched black strip, sew along edges with pink thread and add to card.
3. Die cut a scalloped square from black card, cut a square of kraft card to layer on top, emboss with paisley embossing folder and stick to scalloped square, sew around edges with pink thread. Add to card with foam pads.
4. Add sentiment sticker to kraft and cut out. Add to card with foam pads
5. Punch two hearts from pink paper and add to embossed panel with foam pads.
6. Embellish with gems
