Fathers Day card embellishment

 

I was shopping in a supermarket yesterday and I saw some HUGE chocolate medals saying No 1 Dad on. When I got home I thought these would be great reduced in size made out of card and put onto a card as a topper.  Mine are a little simple as I haven’t had time to craft yesterday as it was my birthday. But it does give you the base for making them prettier !

You will need : Mirror card , Small piece of Ribbon , Patterned paper (PP) Alpha stickers , Round Squeeze punch , Tag Squeeze punch , Tape , small piece of wire or a D ring.

Instructions : Cut a circle out of mirror card and a tag out of stripey PP with the squeeze punches . Fold the wire in a figure of eight shape -the the bottom loop should have a flat edge (see photo) Top loop will be covered so it can be untidy. 

Thread the ribbon through the loop of wire that has a flat edge and glue onto the back of the Tag punch out. Stick the bottom loop of the wire onto the mirror card punched circle.

Then decorate with Alpha stickers or what ever you choose.
