Fathers Day Challenge - Jayne

p1080779ddd-500-x-333.jpgGood morning Fiskarettes . Today I am showing you a card I have made for Fathers day for my Dad. He has quite a thing for old cars and the last one he’s bought is based on an old Ferrari racing car. It is red and is a little like Noddys car or so I thnk so…this annoys my Dad a little, especially when I say I don’t like the car but it is cute. I’m going to slot in a photo of his head at a later date perhaps with a Noddy hat on.

                                       Fathers day card – NoddySupplies:

Red, Yellow, grey, brown & silver cardstock scraps.

White card.

Glue, Scissors.

Brown ink,  Alphabet stickers.

Heart Squeeze punch.

Squeeze Circle punch.

Fiskars Border punch Ribbon slits.

 Instructions:

1.Fold a card for your base, Or you can use a shop bought card. Punch along the bottom edge for interest using fiskars Ribbon slit border punch

2.Next you have to cut the car shapes, Draw them in pencil lightly and cut them out using scissors or a knife. Cut the bonnet shape out of yellow card- cut a rectangle & round off the corners and slightly round the edges.

Then cut a ‘C’ shape for the window.

Cut a small rectangle for the number plate.

Cut 4 red teardrop shapes for the wings. Cut grey radiator shape and two darker pieces for the grill & a long sausage shape & 2 small sausage shapes for the bumper. 2 rectangles with the corners rounded out of light brown for the wheels. And lastly punch two circles for headlights out of mirror card.

3. Ink all the edges of your cardstock cut pieces. And then arrange onto your card and glue down when happy with placement. Some trimming might need doing if they don’t fit. My lights were a little large at first.

4. Punch a heart out using the Squeeze punch for the title. Ink.

5. Add Alpha stickers and ink the edge of the card. That’s it finished !
