Today I thought i’ld show you what i’ve made using the Scrapboss (it’s virtually a 12″ x 12″ Shapeboss type tool) It was an idea to use paint from a lady I know :) . The Scrapboss is usually designed for dry embossing See here but it comes with a starter template you can take off and use as a Stenciling template ….see more templates HERE I’ve used This WINTER Template . The Baubles show the front & back I have made 2 but have a few more to decorate.

You have to keep the item you are painting very still. If you are using the template on a flat area it would be easy to tape the template onto the item but because I was painting on a round shape it was very difficult to tape down. I added paint using a paint Dauber you could use paint and a sponge or a large stencil brush. Leave to dry before you move the stencil onto another part of the Bauble or it might smudge the paint !

I added names with a glue pen & sprinkled with fine glitter to finish off the Bauble. You could use a glue pen & different glitters to add more colour to a silver Bauble ….Every bauble in your home could have your name on :D

(below is a pic of the plain Baubles I started with)
