Alison

This card uses the first of the sketches that Chris posted last week. I thought the central panel would look good with a photograph and I remembered the pictures I’d taken at a National Trust garden last month, which had a vaguely Japanese look. The papers came free with the latest issue of ‘Cardmaking and Papercraft’ and again I though the orange chrysanthemum paper lookly vaguely oriental. So this is my take on the design, using a greeting from the free pack at the bottom, along with a sparkly flower and gem.

Great take on the sketch Alison and love the papers you have used – a definite oriental feel.

Fab take on the sketch Alison, the photograph is stunning and I love the colours you used, they compliment the photo beautifully. I could see your card in a frame on a wall…it is lovely, I don’t think you would tire of looking at that scene ever :)
