I’m not a great one for resolutions as they can just be things you set yourself up to fail at!! But I do usually set a few goals at the beginning of a year and make a record of them in some form.

Last year I had been playing with making Jacob’s ladders - here’s one that I used to record my goals for 2009. It had been pinned to my notice board for the year and when I took it down I felt quite pleased that I’d acheived everything on it. Unfortunately when I turned it over, I found that all the things on the back, which had been facing the wall for a year, remain undone!! Well, they were all the hard ones - I’m sure they were facing the wall for a reason!

    What a great idea for a mini-book.
You’ve done better than me I haven’t done one of my 2009 resolutions, so I haven’t made any this year.

What a fab idea and a lovely little book - are the ones which were facing the back the resolutions you are going to try and keep for this year?
