Ruth’s First & Last

Haven’t looked at this layout for a long time! It was interesting to see the trends that were around when I first got into scrapbooking – using film strips (back in trend now), tags and stamping, bits of vellum and plenty of matting. I laboured for days to make this page, and even though I can see lots of things in it that make me cringe I still love it!!

Last LO was done on Monday, for a weekly challenge on another site – the hatpin and swirly bling embellishment was an idea lifted from the album of one of my scrapping friends and I think I’m going to use pins on all my lOs for a few weeks!!

    loving seeing everyones first & last Layout xxx
    oooh the first one is how I was taught to scrap Lots of aangles,matting and photos :) Love the beaded pin too on the second one x

    It’s funny how scrapbooking also has fashions!! At the moment I am into owls, mushrooms and russian dolls! Love your first and last LOs. It is so good to see these from everyone and good to look back at how much we all grow as crafters!

    Lovely to see, I like them both.
    It’s funny how the flim strip has come back again.
    I like the pin idea and think I will be using it on my LOs too.
