I found this hard when I saw the challenge of thanksgiving, because it is something we don’t celebrate. I decided to make a thank you card. I stamped with versamark ink and then brushed over perfect pearls. I set the perfect pearls with a fine mist of water. Once they were dry I stamped the image again in the middle with versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I added a few pearl drops on the butterfly and some die cut letters.

I could quite happily frame this and put it on my wall. I love everything about it, from the colours to the image… everything. I spotted this on your blog earlier and like I said then it has a very Art Nouveau feel to it - it reminds me of a certain picture of a woman, which, annoyingly I don’t know the name of but the colours and everything, it would fit so well.

Love that font too - what one is it?

    Lovely card Debbie.
The challenge wasn’t specifically Thankgiving (that was just a reference to this time of year) but to generally ‘give thanks’ so it fits the challenge perfectly! Thanks for taking part.
