I love to have something new to wear at Christmas and the theme of this competition inspired this festive necklace that I’ll be wearing over the turkey this year.

I created eight wrapped loop charms – each of these have a mix of red and green beads with white shell chips, with a wrapped wire loop at each end and the wire spiralled along the length of the charm. The charms were joined together with double jump rings to make the necklace.

I then wired 2 green shell beads together with a white star bead, using fir green wire, to make a Christmas Tree charm, and hung this from the centre of the necklace with a jump ring. Hope you like it!

This is beautiful Ruth. I went on a jewellery course a couple of weeks ago and got quite frustrated with the wire. You have great patience and it looks fab!!
