Approximately 29 cm by 39 cm, this big card took hours to make. I used lots of different papers by the same brand, plus ribbons, shimmer card, pearlescent card and glossy accents. The large candles and cherries stand out on glue pads whilst the centre banners are pop-out. There was a lot of measuring to do and cutting out the shapes was a little fiddly, but I did enjoy it.

Although I used a lot of colours, I think I matched up the strong and soft pinks well and contrasted with the little banner flags. I hope you like the flames, which have colours other than yellow in them to make them look as if they are flickering. I made this specially for the competition to my own design and have not shown it elsewhere.
