‘Stars’ Competition – word book
by Jozza
I made a word book of my nephew Benjamin which features paper with stars on it. It’s difficult to give a clear idea of what the book is like as obviously it has lots of pages of photos etc so I would need to upload loads of pics!
I used the new Funky Daze CD from Funky Hand which enables you to make word books to make up any name or word you like. I also used my trusted Fiskars scissors and paper trimmer…

Hi,
I would like to say its a lovely book and offer a tip for anyone who doesn’t have the cd.
I have made a number of these books easily. If you buy a large 4 inch set of templates from any stationary shop for around £4 you can make any word you want. Just cut a 12 x 12 page in 3 strips of 4″. Draw the first letter and cut around the right hand edge of the word. The left over can be used for another letter. Line up the next letter from the left and draw round then next letter and cut it out on the right and carry on until you have your word. Simple and easy.
Regards
Heather.
Heather, that sounds a great tip…. however I need to see diagrams…lol… do you have a tutorial on it?
have a great evening.
