Quick card ~ By Jayne Loughlin
by Clare
Very Simple card today showing you a technique rather than an amazing card ! Thought I’ld tie it in with our competition ‘Stamping & inking’ I’m quite rubbish at stamping but really love it and hope to get better. Whilst I was talking to a lady I met she looked horrified that the competion was ‘Stamping & Inking’ I said it didn’t have to be a Inky madness or Tim Holtz masterpiece just a little stamped image will do. If you’ve used a stamp & Ink on any part it qualifies…though Tim Holtz look-a-like masterpieces are welcome too
…..CLOSING DATE 15th FEB. More info HERE
I have made my card using Patterned paper that has a coloured strip at the bottom ( You usually trim this off) I’ve cut a slit a inch or two but not cutting the complete strip off. This gets the Fiskars Heart Squeeze punch punching on the red part of the patterened paper.

It can be taped at the back and then glued onto a card blank if wished. The Alphas weren’t the right colour so I have coloured them with Promarker …The first one I carefully coloured in whilst stuck to the card but then a brain wave happened & I coloured them on the Sticker sheet itself ..Much easier.

The stamp is from Fiskars too it’s the Wedding set the border stamp is quite long so You might want to look into Fiskars Stamp press ideal for HUGE stamps and multiple stamping.
**** So go on Stamp a image and enter it in our competition, You’ll never know you might end up with a great crafty prize x
