Happy Birthday Pastels by KimDellow
February, 19th 2013

Hi Everyone, Kim Dellow here and I’ve been playing with my ShapeCutter™, have you tried this tool? The Tags & Brackets Shape Template™ is fun don’t you think? I quite like it for making quick tags but I thought today I would make a birthday card with this template.

Step 1

Start by cutting some tag shapes from the pastel and old book papers using the ShapeCutter™ and Tags & Brackets Shape Template™ and also cut five flowers from the pastel papers using the large flower Squeeze punch.

 Step 2

Round the bottom corners of card blank and wrap the card front with crochet ribbon, then use the seam ripper to distress the edges of the paper tags from Step 1.

Step 3

Stick the largest tag shape to the card front with 3D-foam and stamp the sentiment onto the book page tag before sticking that down as well.

Step 4

Shape the flowers with a ball tipped embossing tool and layer the flowers on top of each other, finish them with some beads in the centre and stick the flower to the card front.

Pretty in pastels!

Happy creating.

Kim
