Altered photo frame ~ Jayne Loughlin
by Clare
Finished Frame above ….. What I started out with below ….

I’ve been playing around with Crackle paint & decided to paint a old frame someone gave me when my daughter was born years ago. I never had a Pink Nursery so the frame was kept hidden. You simply paint on the crackle paint (I did paint the frame with Blue Acrylic first but don’t think this actually made a difference) Leave the paint to dry and it just crackles !!! The thicker the paint the deeper the Crackles ,it’s up to you what effect you want.
I have used Fiskars L Scallop circle Squeeze punch & the medium Circle Squeeze punch that fits neatly inside the Scalloped Circle to add a little Scrapbooky style to the Frame.
When it came to the centres I punched 2 medium Circles & one I featherd the edges with Scissors ending up with (see photo below) …..

The other circle I trimmed with Scissors like below (it doesn’t matter if it’s not a perfect Circle) ….

Hope you like xxx Have a great day & happy crafting…..Please feel free to share your work with us anytime xxx
