This layout has been made using the yummy Jillybean Soup Minestrone double sided papers. I have used a 6 x 4 portrait photo.
1) Take a 12×12 piece of cream card stock. Cut a piece of patterned paper 12 x 6 inches and stick slightly below centre on the cream card stock.
2) Take a cream piece of card and emboss. Tear the bottom edge and ink the embossed pattern and edges. Position as shown on photo.
3) Cut a co-ordinating patterned strip 12 x 1.5 inches and lay across the embossed piece.
4) Cut three pieces of co-ordinating ribbon and lay vertically to the right of the layout.

5) Using the ShapeBoss  and the Victorian 2 ShapeBoss Template, emboss a piece of card and cut into a strip. Dust with antique gold Perfect Pearls. Position this strip over the patterned 12 x 1.5 inch piece.

6) Make your own embellishment cluster! Using the ShapeCutter and Circle Template  cut a circle and pleat an old piece of book paper. Layer three  scallop squares using the Squeeze Punch – Scalloped Square.  Stamp a journaling block.  I have used Fiskars Scrapbook stamp set.
7) Using a brown fine tip pen, add a running stitch pattern along the edge (or hand sew to join in with Monday’s challenge!)
8) Add a title.
I also added a little heart embellie that I made whilst playing with the melt pot. This was made using a heart cookie mould. I need a melt pot!! Thank you Lynne for letting me experiment with yours!

Thanks for your comments everyone! I was a bit nervous uploading my first DT post!! The Shapeboss is very theraputic Jayne. It is just like colouring in. It’s only when you remove the paper that you reveal that gorgeous pattern. I am now hooked!
