Guest DT – Katy – Always Layout

Fiskars tools used:
Border punch: Apron Lace
Border punch: Bracket
Squeeze punch: Large Circle
Clear stamps: Butterflies

On this really clean and simple layout I’ve used punches to provide the decoration, using a mix of border punches and a circle punch. Both the positive and negative parts of the Bracket punch – don’t throw away those little leftover bits! You can see that top and bottom the punched circles are edged with the waste from the main punched paper strip.

For the butterflies I stamped one of the images from the stamp set onto the reverse of some paper and cut them out to make embellishments (you could equally use a butterfly punch). I’ve decorated the cut out butterflies by stamping over them with the tiny branch from the same stamp set.
