Good day to you all x I have been rather busy this weekend just gone as I went to a Trade fair at NEC … I checked out some of the Fiskars New Products and lots of new exciting things in the crafting world coming to us all soon :) Very exciting.

For the Challenge today I have created a Rose Chipboard book for my mum.

Items needed: Fiskars Shapecutter Plus & Circle Templates, Circle Chipboard book (mine was from Tandos crafts) Adhesive, paper or cardstock, ink ,  Spray mister ink or shimmer in pale colour,Vintage button.

Instructions : Firstly select your papers – I’ve used a selection of 3 pastel cardstock pieces.

Cut using your Circle Template & Shapecutter all sizes of circles from the Template that are on the Shape Cutter Template going down in sizes. I’ve cut 7 circles (1 of each but 2 from the larger circle)

Cover your book (see the blank book below) with paper adding the largest Circle to fit book , mine is over lapping a little but i just curled the edges using fingers. Ink edges too.

Use the same size Circle as above & ink edges. Bend the edges up really roughly using your fingers, crease, bend and even tear edges if liked all the way round and scrumple the whole thing a little . Glue in the centre only and glue to front of book.

Use the next two sizes and follow the above steps. Glue the other circles layering them up and keep going until you have used all your circles.

Lightly spray the whole rose with a pale mist for shimmer ( i used gold perfect pearl mists) if you have it. Finish off with a button.

Tweak the petals if they look a little flat etc using your fingers.

I haven’t had decorated inside but I will before it’s my Mums birthday next week :)
