Simple 8×8 L/O

by Clare

Just a quick note… We haven’t forgotten about the DT. Due to a high number of entries we are looking at them very closely and will announce our first ever DT very soon. Keep looking :D

        *******************************************************************

Today I’ve decided to fill one of my many 8×8 albums that are collecting dust with pics of the girls when they were younger, I’m not a great fan of 8×8 its not big enough for my liking but I bought these books a while back and need to use up stash !!!

I didn’t have a Digi Camera either when the elder two were young. Think at one point I only had a disposable camera so photos are few and far between and not great quality. Putting the photos straight into an album would be a little boring, A book of under fives for all the girls together was the best bet seeing I haven’t got enough photos of my elder two .

This is the first page of Keiras section-scan . I have used Majestic paper edgers to cut the photo mat, Fiskars squeeze circle punch for the flower and cut snips for added interest with my micro tip Scissors as the tips are fabby to snip slits. Also used Fiskars Pop up punch (tulips) to add a bit of interest to the background.

What a pretty layout! Lovely to have your first glimpse of your baby, isn’t it? Mine was lying on her back, sucking her thumb!

Love how you have done the flowers. Really envious as I have no baby scan photos, when dd’s was done I was only 8 weeks pregnant so her heart was a cross on the screen, and with ds the printing equipment was broken!

Meant to ask Jayne are you using 8 by 8 paper? I always think its such a waste to cut 12 by 12 down, I suppose you could use the scraps for embellies on another page?
