Another easy project to share with the children so they can make a matching card to go with their bookmark if they like. They may need a little extra help with this one but I’m sure that you won’t mind that. What you need :-A 10cm x 15cm (A6) card blank.

2 Small sheets of Co-ordinating coloured paper or thin card.

Fiskars Squeeze Punches in Sizes EL, L and M

3d foam adhesive pads

To begin, take your blank card and using the XL Fiskars squeeze punch cut an aperture at the top of the card.

Then cut a further two apertures at intervals with the L squeeze punch.

Cut a further L shape and 3 M shapes from the co-ordinating coloured paper or card and place 3d foam adhesive pads on the reverse.
starcard
Take off the adhesive cover from the 3d foam pads and holding your card closed, stick the L coloured shape within the EL shape at the top of the card as shown below. Repeat, placing the M shapes in the other two apertures.

Arrange the remaining star on top of the largest star to give an extra 3d effect

You will be able to see the design when the card is shut and also when it is opened.

You can stand the card in a portrait setting or landscape. Both look equally appealing.

A tip for adding a greeting to the inside of a dark card, is to use a Gold, Silver or White gel pen directly onto the card. Or if you prefer, stick an oblong shape of white paper on the inside of the card above the apeture to write your greeting on.Happy CreatingChris x
