pumpkin-felt-265-x-400.jpg

Good morning. Today I am showing you a little brooch I have sewn whilst sitting in front of the T.V  tonight. It didn’t take long the hardest part was not dropping the beads :)

I cut a Pumpkin shape from Orange felt using Fiskars Scissors and sewn Orange sequins & beads on that I recycled from an old Halloween outfit my Daughter had.

I then cut little leaves from scraps of felt. I found the Fiskars Scissors really good at snipping little leaves. Then I tacked the the leaves on the Pumpkin. Lastly a little Safety pin was sewn on & added to the back. Try using the tools from the Sewing -12 in 1 Multi tool if you have any problems it has a seam ripper to unpick stitches, A thread cutter to cut ends close to the felt & you can even use the Safety pin :)

I apologise for the photo it was taken by my mums phone at work as I forgot to take a photo ! :)

Beautiful brooch, you could adapt it to make a handbag charm.
It would make a great present for someone with a September or October birthday.

Really cute! I’m going to try and make on this to wear on my jacket this autumn. I hate boring black coats but they always seem to be the warmest! x
