Design Team Intro….x

As you know we had a Design Team call to cover three months - June, July and August.

We had loads of entries and they were all exceptional, believe me.  We are hoping that many of you who applied this time will certainly try again when the next DT call goes out…

We have chosen three DT members who are proficient at many crafts, but specifically cardmaking, scrapbooking and beadwork.  We are confident that you will be inspired by the DT as you see their projects over the next three months.

Hi, I’m Terrie.

I have been crafting for three years now, I love anything crafty and I love creating.  My passion is my cards.

I do love anything to do with creativity though, layouts, jewellery – I am often trying new things and techniques.

I look forward to sharing lots of creations and projects using Fiskars tools and products and hopefully inspiring you along the way!

Hello, I am Lynne (Beadmad)

I’m married and have one daughter who loves crafting with me.
I don’t like sitting doing nothing so like to have a project to keep my hands busy.

I really enjoy making beaded jewellery but prefer using needle and thread to create pieces, than wire. I used to do a lot of cross-stitch and quilting but there aren’t enough hours in the day to fit everything in.

I am a “technique junkie” - I just love trying out new products and am never happier than playing with something new to see what I can produce with it.
I would love to be able to crochet but have never mastered it.

Besides crafts I enjoy, Geocaching, reading, gardening, cooking and being by the sea as much as I can.

Hi, I am Sarah

I have been married to Keith for 12 years and we have two boys, Daniel 11 and Alex 8. We also have Koby, our 1 year old Shih Tzu. I am currently a full time student, studying towards my BSc Natural and Environmental Science with just my final honours year starting in September. When I am not crafting, we like to get out and about for walks as we are lucky enough to live on the NE coast of Scotland and have a beach on every corner so to speak, lol.

I started crafting about 8 years ago. I initially started as a card maker but after being introduced to scrapbooking, via a magazine given to me by my mum, Ii haven’t looked at cardmaking since.  I love scrapbooking daily life, the mundane and unimportant, to capture small snapshots of our life as well as those very special moments.

Crafting wise I love experimenting with paints, tools and techniques to create different things, be it a LO, ATC, card, mini book or altered project. I also have a slight fettish for buttons and ribbons which I include in most of my projects.
