Morning Fiskarettes , Hope you all had a lovely Weekend.
I have made a little Spring coloured box and it matches my craft room. thought i could pop some little eggs in there and when my children come in and see me I can give them a treat. I couldn’t sew anything as I left my Needles at work but might sew all the componants another time to make them a little more robust.

I had a Fabric box hanging around for ages. It was getting a little grubby so I painted it with Acrylic White paint then left to dry.
Next I traced around ‘flowers’ Shapecutter Template onto Felt, If you dot the pen rather than draw like you would on paper it won’t scag so much on the felt. You should have a flower like this….

Make another flower the same way. I’ve used the same Template but a different flower and layered it underneath the other felt flower. Two Leaves drawn and cut the same way plus centre with a button. These can be glued with Fabric glue or your preferred craft glue.
The box I’ve cut 2 x 12″ strips for the lid and two for the base as a 12″ strip didnt quite go round. Punch with a Border punch I’ve used Fiskars Apron Lace Border Punch Add very sticky glue…My ATG gun is really sticky or you could use extra strong DST or Glue dot strips perhaps ! Glue the strips round trying to match up the ends (over lap them slightly)
Ther you have it a pretty little box.

That is a really pretty box Jayne. What a lovely idea – my Mum used to have a treat box, you’ve just reminded me
I love the colour combo, fabulous.
That’s lovely Jayne & it would make a great Easter treat box too
Pretty box, I particularly like the felt flowers.
