hahahahahha…had to think back a long way for this!!! Would have to be a decent pair of scissors! X
Oh and they were Fiskars Pinking Shears and I still use them!!!!
One of the first tools I bought when I started crafting was a heat tool for embossing. It was about £20 and I can remember thinking about it really hard, wondering if I would stick with card making and get enough use out of it. Here I am 4 years later, still crafting and loving it!

i guess it wud be my paper slicer, and ive used it every day since
It was some tweezers for applying fiddly peel offs! Or a decent cutting mat. Can’t remember which came first. Peel offs didn’t survive for long in this house though – hate them!!
It was a heat gun. I saw a ademo of embossing powders and got fed up holding the card with a peg over a toaster to heat the powder. Not a good idea to get embossing powder in a toaster!
I had to buy a new one.
I think mine must have been my paper trimmer and soon after that my crop-a-dile. It seems after that my tool collection and stash grew rapidly!!

Oooh this is a hard question – I think the very first item was a paper punch
my first item for crafting was a hot glue gun as i already had scissors, ruler,shape cutters from dress making and cake decorating they all came into use with my card making too.
When I think back that far ..my goodness!!!

My first item was a Fiskars craft knife which I still use and a cutting mat which sadly had to be replaced a while back!

Please don’t enter me in the competition as I already have these stamps for demo purposes, but believe it or not the first craft thing I got that I can remember was a present from my mum and it was actually a Big Shot…. still works fab to this day.
