Do you have a Wedding Anniversary coming up? Either your own or someone close to you? Here is some info which is interesting and useful……to start off have a read of this little anniversary poem….Which month were you married?
***********************************January – Marry when the year is new, he’ll be loving, kind and true.
February – When February birds do mate, you wed nor dread your fate.
March – If you wed when March winds blow, joy and sorrow both you’ll know.
April- Marry in April if you can, joy for maiden and for man.
May – Marry in the month of May, you will romance the day.
June – Marry when June roses grow and over land and sea you’ll go.
July – Those who in July do wed must labour for their daily bread.
August – Whoever wed in August be, many a change is sure to see.
September – Marry in September’s shine so that your life is rich and fine.
October – If in October you do marry, love will come but riches tarry.
November – If you wed in bleak November, only joys will come, remember!
December – When December’s snows fall fast, marry and your love will last.
***********************************
I was married in August and I sure have seen many a change but then I guess I would having been married for 20 years this year!…

PS: Forgot to add good post!
I was married in June but I can’t say I’ve done that much travelling, until recently and I don’t think driving up the motorway every day is very romantic lol. Fat chance of getting any of those gifts traditional or modern.
Thanks Caroline. I told DH that 20th was Pearl and got a beautiful pearl necklace. I honestly thought it was. So don’t think I will get another one next year when it actually is. I could try using the modern list and ask for a diamond. I’m lucky as he he even comes home with surprise stash for me. A couple of weeks ago I got some coredinations black magic
April- Marry in April if you can, joy for maiden and for man.
We married in April…will be 19 years this year. No pressies on the list for us
. Normally we go away for a long weekend just the two of us, but as hubby has joined the unemployed it will probably be just some flowers or choccies.
Wow what a great couple of lists – now what do I ask for this year? China or Platinium….ummmm
Great verse too…will have to remember that one..
we’ve made it to 13 years today! I was quite pleased with the card I made – must post it in the gallery, but as usual received….mmmmmm…….thin air! Never mind, at least I still have him.
