As we say a big ‘Thank You’ to our Design Team of the last three months, I thought it would be nice to hear what the DT had to say about the whole Fiskarette DT experience.  Their thoughts are below:

Rainbow Poppy:

“I have really enjoyed being a part of the DT. It has given me a lot of confidence in my skills as a scrapbooker and some of the challenges have made me think ‘outside the box’ (especially the use a leaf from the garden!)

I think you can see from my work that I love the Fiskars ShapeCutter, I also couldn’t live without my Fiskars Paper Trimmer (use the scoring blade a lot too) and my Fiskars needlework scissors that I use to cut out everything else.

There wasn’t a tool that I liked the least! Although if I had to ask for anything, I would really love to see Fiskars bringing out some more shapecutter templates. ”

Milliesmarvels:

“I really enjoyed being part of the Design Team and enjoyed working with
the tools you supplied to make Projects.  My Favourite was the Fiskars Border Punch – Scalloped Lace as it was so versatile.
It really stretched my creativity to sit down with the tools and try to
come up with Projects that would be easy for other Fiskarettes to
recreate and I hope that I was able to inspire a few of them to try
something new.
I would definitely repeat the experience if I could and would recommend to
any one else try out as DT as it is an invaluable experience.”

We now have a new Design Team to cover until March – you will be introduced to them on Friday!!    If you would like to consider being part of the team at some point then I hope the above comments have helped to make your mind up and encourage you to give it a go next time… :-)
