Fiskarettes have a new Design Team – running from beginning September through to the end of November.  But before we welcome the new DT, a big ‘thank you’ is sent to the very first Fiskarette DT – Lynne, Sarah and Terrie – who provided us with fantastic projects over the past three months.

Here are some comments made by the first DT about the whole Design Team experience…

Can you tell us what you liked about being part of the team.

“Working to a deadline made sure I got the project finished.  I did have one wobble when my idea didn’t work but I came up with another idea which worked.  Normally I would have just thrown the piece away, but I had to have a project to upload so this pushed me on.  Although I didn’t do all the weekly challenges it was nice to know in advance what was coming up, I shall miss that.”

“I loved checking in daily to see what we had all been up too.”

Will you continue to be a part of the Fiskarette community?

“Of course!  I was an active member of the Blog before I was chosen for the DT and will continue to be part of it.  I’m looking forward to being able to enter the competitions again.”

“Most definately. Some great inspiration on the site and I love all the weekly challenges.”

Have you any suggestions on what we can include on the blog in the future – anything you would like to see?

“Now you are having regular DT project, there are lots of ideas to try.  I wish blog members had shared any things they’d done, inspired by our projects.”

“There is a good balance of scrapbooking, cards, altered projects, challenges, jewellery.”

Any other comments?

“Thank you for pushing me out of my comfort zone. You have given my confidence in my creative skills a huge boost.  Thanks for choosing me.”

“Keep up the great work girls and I can’t wait to see what the new team produce.”
