Kirsten Lapping RAK ATC

Do you remember, way back in April, the Fiskarette Spotlight I did with Kirsten of Kirsten Lapping Designs? See article HERE …
Kirsten has got in touch hoping for some help from Fiskarettes for a special RAK ATC Craft Challenge that she is organising.
Kirsten says:
“To encourage new and would be crafters, we have launched the RAK ATC Craft Challenge, so that people be proud of their ”mini works of art”. These will be displayed on a sari, which can be worn and wall mounted. We have more information on our website www.kirstenlappingdesigns.com.
We would very much like to offer the Fiskarettes the opportunity to be involved.
The sari will be featured in websites, magazines etc. we will be displaying the sari at 2 events: the 1st will be the Creative Crafts for Christmas show at Newcastle Arena 15th -17th October 2009, where Kirsten Lapping Designs will be holding workshops, with the sari displayed in the workshop area, we will be giving people the chance to drop in RAK ATCs too.
The sari will also be displayed at the FREE to enter Skill Challenge Event at Gateshead International Arena Tuesday 17th November 4:30-7pm, where there will be plenty of opportunities to find out how to be involved in learning a new skill, there will be demonstrations, make and takes and more. People can also make their own ATC and we will be holding a raffle where the proceeds will go to ‘Give Faith A Chance’.“* * * * * *
The Sari will be purple, so ATC’s are required that will match and compliment this.
