I made this wire flower using round and flat nose pliers and 20 gauge/0.8mm silver wire. I used 30 cm of the wire. I started making a small look with the flat nose pliers and continue bending the wire using the flat nose ones. I also made the petals of the flower using the round nose pliers. Once I finished the flower I pierced some holes on the cardstock and sew it. I used my Fiskars corner punch for the edges and also added some beads threaded on a piece of ribbon a litle touch of sparkle. Finally added some printed ribbon with a colorful Happy Birthday greeting.

Fab flower Ana & great way of attaching it to your card. I think the corners being punched throws extra emphasis on the flower itself. Have you tried the Fiskars wire templates?? They’re fab…

    Love your colour combo too.

Thanks for your comments Lorraine! I haven’t tried them yet; they are on my ever-growing list of must-haves. I’ve seen them being demostrated on a video and I think they’re fab too.
