There are many ways to add interest to your scrapbook pages, adding detail by using eyelets will make your page more tactile, with decorative edges and inking adding visual depth to your page too. On this A4 size page I used all of these teqniques along with some patterned scrapbook papers to create quite a simple page but with lots of detail.

Use a Fiskars eyelet in the centre of a cutout paper flower and doodle on the petals with a brush marker.

Use Fiskars eyelets to draw attention to an area such as the journalling around the photograph. Use the edges of your Fiskars Oval and Circular templates with the Fiskars Shapecutter plus to add beautiful scalloped edging to your mats and layered papers

Use the Fiskars border punches to add interest to the edge of your photograph and carefully use a fine tipped brush marker in a co-ordinating colour to highlight the design and also to edge your paper embellishments and scalloped matt.

Add Fiskars shaped eyelets like this flower to give more interest to your paper pieces.
You can also use these techniques in your cardmaking and OTP items and if you do we would love to see your projects so don’t forget to share them with us by uploading them to the gallery
Happy Creating
