Why not follow the tutorial for the fabric flowers  but using a coloured felt tip pen instead of a fabric pen, to draw your lines with and create some paper flowers too for your Cardmaking and Scrapbooking projects.  Follow the extra information below to make your first flower card. You will need :-

A 5inch square card blank

3 Patterned papers in co-ordinating colours.

Fiskars Shape Template (circles)

Fiskars Guillotine or Fiskars craft knife and a ruler.

Felt tip pen ( in colours co-ordinating with your papers)

Adhesive

Button or brad for centre of flower.

First of all follow the fabric flower tutorial to create your shapes using your patterned papers and felt tip pens and the 4in, 2.5in and 1.5in circle shapes (see the picture above)so that you can layer them to create your flower.

flower
Hold each completed flower shape between your finger and thumb and lift the alternate sections gently towards you to create petals.
flower3
Cut two 5inch long, narrow strips of paper with your Fiskars guillotine or Fiskars craft knife and ruler.
 flower4
Lay each strip on a piece of scrap paper and using the tip of your felt pen draw around the edge of the shape to give an inked effect.
flower2
Apply adhesive and add one strip vertically down the centre of your card blank front, then add the other stip horizontally as shown.

Finally add glue to the centre of each flower shape and layer them together as shown, adding a brad or button to the centre to embellish, before attaching the completed layered flower to the card. You could add a sentiment by stamping one into the bottom right corner of the card or add a rub on or peel of greeting.

Alternatively add a sentiment tag with thread which you can secure between the shapes for a different effect.

Happy creating
