If you love the look of lace and delicate decorative edging you will love the Fiskars border punches.  There are so many variations of design you can create with them.  By varying the width of the strip of paper you use (min 3cm) you can design your own paper lace and gorgeous edging for your  Cards, ATC’s  and Scrabook layouts.

Use colours of paper that co-ordinate with your project before punching or experiment with colouring the paper lace with inks, chalks and stamps.  Try staining your paper with a wash of tea or diluted coffee to create a vintage feel to the paper lace giving it an aged look.

Happy Creating

I’ve used this idea for heritage scrapbook pages, to mimic the broderie anglaise you get on old-fashioned blouses. It’s a lovely look.

I think it looks lovely. Did you know that you can also use some of the border punches as corner punches if you are careful at lining the paper up.
