Fiskarette Spotlight - Jayne

This week I put our very own Jayne on the spotlight!

*What are your favourite craft techniques?*  My main passion is scrapbooking and i simply enjoy cutting & stickingpaper ! I do plan to fiddle in lots more techniques in 2009 & experimentmore. I also have a love for wire work and beads. 

*How often do you craft?*  I craft 3-4 times a week. 

*Do you have a favourite time of the day dedicated to crafting?*  Evenings when the kids are in bed, especially if there is football on the tv then my husband doesn’t complain either. 

*What is on your desk at the moment?*  My cricut, a HUGE Fiskars cutting mat & my new Fiskars rotary papercutter, a stack of paper trays with my fave papers in. A can of pepsi max. 

*Do you have a favourite quote or poem?*Nope I’m really not into all that slushy stuff though I suppose my fave quote would be …. Treat others how you want to be treated.

*Any hints or tips you would pass on to anyone else?*My biggest message would be go on try it out you know you want to !!!! I’mgreat with advice but not so great following it through !! 

*Other than craft stash, do you collect anything or have any other hobbies?*My other hobby is Geocaching as its a great way to get the family out inthe country. To explain quickly its Treasure hunting with GPS and all agescan join in, Its also a great photo opportunity.  I Also have a small tiaramaking business called Headlough Tiaras. 

*Do you have any favourite projects you would like to show us?*

 

 *What makes you smile?*  My children family and friends make me smile oh my best scrapping friendCleo ‘she gets my sense of humour’ 

*Favourite song right now?*Gangsters Paradise by Coolio - I’ve always loved this song, I’m a RobbieWilliams fan too but also love bands like Kaiser Chiefs and PidgeonDetectives, Scouting for Girls … 

*Favourite film?*Armageddon but I cant ever spell it . Oh and ELF … I love ELF !!! 

*If you could be invisible where you go and what would you do?*  I would go back to my ex husbands and wack him round the head with abaseball bat a few  times just for the sake of it lol !!!!! No onlykidding we kind of get on now ! I would go to the place I got my invisiblepotion from and grab me some more for my family  

*Do you have an burning desire to fufil any ambition before you reach your next birthday milestone, eg. 30, 40, 50 60?*  Milestone is nearly here in 2.5 yrs I’ll be 40 …. I want to go to NewYork. But I am quite happy with what I’ve got and have done what I’ve setout to do in life . 

*If you could take three things with you on a desert island, what would they be?*  Not including my husband & kids etc… it would be …. My coat, a boat and my scrapping tote !!! I get cold , I would try and sail away and I could use my tools for survival skills like preparing foods  and catching fish with my herma and a safetypin or something ! 

*If you could visit anywhere in the world – where would it be and why?*  I’m not very adventrous so it would have to be Dominican Republic again as I got married there . Thats if it isn’t new York shopping. 

*Just for fun:*

Favourite food – lasagne gotta be with chips though.

Favourite chocolate bar – Cadburys creme egg.

Black or white – black but rather have colour anyday.

Dog or cat – dog.Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter – Summer,  I get cold !!!OH  But  geocaching is better in the winter there isnt stinging nettles…….
