DT Member – Hels Sheridan

Hello! My name is Hels Sheridan… fast sliding towards 40 and married to Grim. We have a fur baby – AlfieCat, who is our spoilt little man :O)) I have been crafting ever since I can remember but really got bitten by the bug in 2003. I started out with one craft TSV and a few buttons, making cards on the living room floor, then moving to the dining room and then taking over the spare room. We have recently moved house and I now have a lovely big room which I have comandeered to be my Room of Stash!

I am a retired Train Driver; I had a really bad car accident and damaged my spine, so I sadly was medically retired last year. I miss my career and it has left a big gap in my life – but I have been busy filling that gap with being more creative and spending more time making art.

I am lucky enough to have been published in Craft Stamper and am on their Design Team, as well as being on the DT for The Artistic Stamper, The Stamp Attic and Gingersnap Creations. I am really honoured to be chosen to be on the Fiskarettes Design Team and cannot wait to start making more art!

My main crafty loves are anything Altered and Grungey and I love nothing more than getting inky and messy. I have a guilty pleasure too though… I love all things cute, so occasionally I will have a couple of days making cute cards and playing with pretty papers and flowers… then once my fingers are clean again, I go and ink them up by stamping and playing with paints LOL
