Design Team – Michelle – So delighted!

I am so delighted and excited to be chosen as one of the Design Team members – many thanks, and I am looking forward to 3 months of cards. LO’s and altered items using Fiskars products.

My name is Michelle, I live in Dublin, Ireland and am mum to 3 girls, 14, 6 and 2, and the smaller two are in our foster care, but we consider them ours as they have been with us since they were babies and will be with us forever. The two little ones have health issues, so life is very busy around here, there is therapy, hospital appointments and family visits for them so there is never a dull moment.

Most of my crafting is done at night when the girls are in bed. I am would call myself a paper crafter first but as I hate throwing paper away I try to use the scraps to make cards. I love doing scrapbook LO’s but tend to be very critical of my work and agonise about the layouts for ages. Fiskars might worry about having me on their Design Team as I tend to be very heavy handed with my punches and only last week 2 broke in my hands (not Fiskars ones I might add!).

Photography is a passion of mine, I am working hard on my skills and love my camera club, and the monthly competitions they run which stretch patience and anxiety levels as I hate losing!

I cannot wait to have a really good play with the products and share my crafty makes with you. As I am typing this I am working on a card for a Birthday using a recently purchased Fiskars Upper Crest punch which I just adore. Looking forward to sharing with you all.
