June Guest designer – Cleo Jarvis

Hi My name is Cleo Jarvis and I will be posting a new project every Wednesday through June.
I was so happy to be asked to be a guest designer for Fiskarettes, and can’t wait to get started.
I am married to James and mum to my 3 little boys. I am primarily a Scrapbooker but will try my hand at any craft that takes my fancy (which is lots!!) I have been scrapbooking for around 4 years but ‘Arty’ things have always been part of my life.
Although I have a household full of boys I cannot resist girly colours and pretty products- and mix these happily with photos of my boys!!
I love getting messy and my table reflects this lol! My poor husband is used to coming home to discover that the house has been splattered with paint and glue!! Luckily he seems to understand my creative needs !

I go to a local life drawing class as often as I can, to try new tecniques and mediums.
Until a week ago I owned an online scrapbook shop ‘Bellaboo’ . I teach scrapbook classes at retreats, crops and workshops, I also work as a freelance designer and have been published in magazines such as Scrapbook inspirations, The Scrapbook magazine & Creativity life.

I am inspired by so many things but especially by textiles, music, and movies – I love the feeling I get of scrapping to a visually interesting film! (I can’t wait for Alice and wonderland to come out on DVD!) I am also inspired by some of the wonderful blogs that I read I love the work of Dina Wakely and would recommend that you check out her blog. My favourite scrapbook papers are Cosmo Cricket, Sassafrass and October afternoon.
