Hiya Fiskarettes , Hope you had a lovely Weekend.
I have made a Layout using Distress Spray Inks & Fiskars Border Punches & Squeeze Punches. it has gone on UKS too but not the instructions.
Items needed: 6×4″ photo.Various pattern papers & card,Fiskars Effervescence Border Punch, Scalloped lace Punch, Scissors, Gold misters & Purple Distress inks, spray bottle, Buttons, lace strips, Purple crochet flower & Butterfly, Oval Squeeze Punch, Circle Template and ShapeCutter, 1 blossom,Alpha stickers, Stickles & Adhesives & water & Buttons
Instructions: Cut Scallops freehand using scissors out of a 12″ piece of Patterned paper all around the edges & Glue onto a Plain piece of Cardstock ( I used Kraft as a base and striped paper on top) Sorry I have cropped this off the photo above as the L/o was wonky !
Making all the Embelishments….
Punch 6 Ovals for the largest flower from White card using the Fiskars Squeeze XL Oval Punch, Fold these in half longways to add depth. Arange into a flower shape add stickles and leave to dry.
Cut 3 small varied sized Circles using the Shape Cutter and Circle Template , Layer up and add a Button. Spray with gold pearl Spray mister.
Cut a 11″ Strip from paper and Punch using the Scalloped lace Punch Trim to approx 2cms wide.
Cut another Strip 10″ and cut Scallops freehand trim to approx 2.5cms wide. I have sprayed this piece using Distress inks & water mixed in a spray bottle. Hold this quite some distance away.
Cut another piece of paper to fit your title and punch the longer edge using the Effervescence Border Punch. I sprayed this even lighter by holding Spray even further away. Add the title using alphas or die cuts and Trim.
Now arranging the Layout … I usually don’t stick anything down until i’ve placed the pieces and am happy, Sometimes this changes sometimes not…. A GOOD TIP : is to take a photo when you are happy with all the pieces you have placed down and then you can look at it for reference.
I placed the flower you punched using Ovals onto the right facing side. I actually added a blossom in the middle but did not stick the blossom in the middle down.
The next thing I’ve done is spray the background piece with Sprays including the Flower . Just a few random spritzs. Take the blossom off the centre and it should show the flowers shape in the colour of the Oval flower.
Place your Scalloped lace strip down towards the bottom of the layout & add the lace (mine is actually pompom ribbon style lace) along the bottom of this strip.
Cut a mat for your photo and punch the bottom using Effervescence Border Punch. Glue the photo onto this piece and then onto layout.
Add a piece of lace to the top and add the freehand scalloped strip ontop, Finish with buttons.
Add the Circle Embellishment and the sprayed Blossom a crochet flower and buttons and a Butterfly in a cluster towards the right facing side.
Add the Title piece & it is finished

Lovely layout Jayne, and the flowers and embellishments are fab!
Beautiful, I really like the texture you’ve added with the sprays.
