Paper&Ribbons

Hello again! I took my cue from Hels who shared how she had used the ShapeCutter on the free hand setting so decided to have a go this week and it is so easy to use!

1. Score a card blank using the Fiskars Portable Trimmer,  leaving a flap to create an easel style card.

2.Punch the edge of the flap using the Border Punch-Scalloped Lace, slip the flap into the Mini ShapeBoss, using the stencil that comes with the kit and emboss dots above the punched holes to create a lace effect.

3.Using the ShapeCutter on the freehand setting and Cutting Mat cut out decreasing circles from patterned paper.

4. Once cut, curl the edges of each circle and ink with chalk ink.

5.Cover the front of the card and the flap with co-ordinating paper, stitch around the patterned paper.

6. Add ribbon and a bow just above the punched and embossed edge on the flap.

7. Layer the circles on top of each other and glue to secure, on the top circle set eyelets using the Eyelet Setter and 1/16 eyelets from the Nature pack to create a centre and glue on the top.

8. Add a small piece of patterned paper which has been punched with the Border Punch-Scalloped Lace and glue to the front of the card then add the assembled flower using foam pads for dimension.

9. Cut out leaves from the Envelope Template using the ShapeCutter and adhere behind the flower.

10. Add your sentiment!

Until next time :)

What lovely colours, really like how you’ve used the eyelets (note to self, must use up the 1000′s I own)
