Card – Christmas Heart…
by Clare
Are there many of you intending to make all your Christmas cards? I have that intention every year but never quite make it. I might manage a few though…
Here is one I made which uses minimal cost items – corrugated card which you can get from packaging you may receive, sheet music which can be bought very cheaply from a second hand shop, together with some scraps of patterned paper and a bit of ribbon…..add a glittery chipboard heart and there you have it!
Products Used:
- Fiskars Border Punch – Scalloped Lace
- Fiskars Trimmer
- Fiskars Scissors
- Scraps of paper
- Sheet music
- Corrugated card
- Ribbon
- Chipboard
- Glitter
- Sentiment

How to:
- Using your trimmer, trim some music paper to fit 2/3rds of your card blank. Trim patterned paper to fit the rest of the card.
- Using the Border Punch create a border using some scrap paper.
- Tear some corrugated card very roughly to fit across your card.
- Ink all the paper with black ink.
- Tie the ribbon around the corrugated card and tie into a bow.
- Assemble onto your card blank and then attach. I did a double wobbly stitch all the way around.
- Glitter a chipboard heart and attach to the design using silicone glue. This holds better onto corrugated card than pads or tape would do.
- Add your sentiment.
If you are making any Christmas cards then please share with us!

I love this card – I’ve had to pin it!
So lovely, I adore the sheet music and the glittery heart. x
