With school ending in just a few days time (for my son anyway), its a time to say thank you to Teacher!  This card is an idea for a male, which is always harder to create for than a female, I find.   Using the nice ‘Summer’ rub-on and the little peeps of travel rub-ons it kinda says ‘thanks’ as well as ‘have a nice summer’!  It also ties in nicely with our Fiskars Focus of Summer and I did also use our tool focus of the ShapeCutter to create the stars!

Fiskars Products Used:

Other Products Used:

  • Kraft card blank
  • Doily
  • Paper
  • Ink
  • Rub-ons
  • Pebble and crystals

Instructions:

  • First of all I sewed the doily onto the kraft card blank by doing a double circle on the inner circle of the doily.
  • Using the ShapeCutter, Mat and Stars Template cut out two stars in coordinating paper.
  • Lightly ink the edges of the stars and place onto the card.
  • Add the sentiment rub-on as well as the little rub-ons peeping out from under the doily and the little star.
  • Add crystals to parts of the rub-on and the Pebble to the centre of the small star.

Caroline x :)
