Cheers Me Dears!
by ClareHi there Fiskarettes!
Well, I’m still not on the internet, still using a friends connection, and it really is frustrating! Our internet supplier are sending me a new router after trying a new one of our own along with a new cable, new filter and even trying the old modem! Hopefully by the middle of next week, we’ll be back online!
And this is the last of the cards I have for you which I made before my operation, knowing that I wouldn’t be able to craft for a while. So, if my hand doesn’t get better soon, I’ll have to do some tap dancing for you! Read on to find out how to make this card!
Fiskars Supplies
Fiskars Clear Stamps – Borders
Fiskars Everywhere Window Punch – Frame
Other Supplies
Circle Card blank
Patterned paper (free from a magazine)
pink orchid and marigold versacolour ink
black bakers twine
flourish cheers stamp
gin metal pearls (Papermania)
orange and pink cardstock
flowers die cut from electronic die cutting machine
Instructions
1. Cut 2 circles from fawn and orange patterned paper to measure about 4.5 inches diameter (round card blank measures 5″ in diameter). Stick the orange patterned paper to the centre of the card blank.
2. Use one of the border stamps to create a background on the fawn circle, stamping on one line in pink orchid ink, and on the next in marigold ink. Cover the centre with a stip of patterned paper. Cut two slithers of black card and use as a border around the edges of the paper.
3. Place the Everywhere window punch to the right of the card as shown. punch through the patterned paper, then lay this over the orange cardstock so the edges are completely aligned. Do not stick down as yet. Stamp the flourish greeting in black ink through the aperture created by the everywhere window punch.
4. Tie bakers twine through each side of the window punch to the left and right, tying with a bow to the left side. Fix to the front of the card using 3D foam pads.
5. Use flowers to decorate the aperture, finishing with gun metal pearls.
I hope, I pray to see you very soon on my own internet supply. Until then…
