Dad’s Birthday…
by ClareIt was my Dad’s birthday yesterday and this is the card I made to give him. It looks a little pinky in the picture but the paper was orange! I used Basic Grey Ambrosia papers and embellishments.
Ingredients: Fiskars Paper Trimmer, Fiskars Border Punch-Effervescence, Fiskars Stamps-Scrapbook, BasicGrey Ambrosia, chipboard, rub-ons.
* * * * * *
To start, trim two pieces of paper as per the picture, and then on the one edge of the orange paper I used the new Fiskars Border Punch-Effervescence (available end of Jan) to create a border. I then sewed all around the paper and onto the card blank.
* * *
Using the Fiskars Clear Mini Stamps-Scrapbook I stamped the film strip in black ink.
Add the chipboard words and embellishments and then the white dots were rub-ons (have I told you before that I love rub-ons?! lol).
Lift around the sewn edges to create a more aged look, and its done!
Happy Birthday Dad….x
